Danielle has been practicing as a therapist for over twenty years. Danielle has extensive experience working with children, adults and families, through which she has had the opportunity to support many families who have experienced divorce. Through this experience, Danielle decided to combine her professional background with the desire to support parents to formulate a divorce that meets their families needs.
Danielle has complete a forty-hour training in Divorce Mediation, and specializes in working with families of children with unique health concerns, such as physical, emotional or developmental disabilities. Danielle is uniquely capable to guide parents around these needs in the divorce process.

What is Mediation?
Divorce mediation is a form of alternative dispute resolution where a neutral third party (the mediator) helps a divorcing couple reach agreements on key issues, such as property division, child custody, support, and parenting plans, without going to court.
Mediation is a voluntary process, wherein both spouses agree to participate.
The mediator doesn’t make decisions, rather facilitates communication and negotiation, ensuring both parties are heard.

The number of hours a divorce mediation takes can vary widely, depending on the complexity of the case and the level of conflict between spouses. Factors that affect the time required include: the number of issues (custody, property division, alimony, etc.), communication (cooperative vs combative), preparation (having financial documents, parenting plans, etc., ready for sessions), complexity in distribution of assets.
